        The information below represents some of the major issues that limit Web site accessibility by persons with disabilities. The information was gathered as the result of four evaluations of Web-based course materials conducted at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

        Tips for Creating Accessible Web Sites

          * Include Alternative Text for All Images and Imagemaps

          * Use Frames with Caution

          * Use Tables with Caution

          * Make Sure that Navigational Graphics are Intuitive and Easy to Read

          * Test Pages in Lynx, with Bobby and with your Students!
